“stuck car” phenomenon occurs in hot bending furnace production

(1) Causes During the production process of the circulating hot bending furnace, the “stuck car” phenomenon occurs. This is mainly because the glass movement of the furnace is achieved by the groove and bottom of the mold car running on the wheel-rail, and the lifting is completed by the elevator. When the temperature in the furnace is uneven, due to the inconsistency of thermal expansion and contraction, the parts will be displaced or deformed, causing the mold car to stop moving or the elevator to get stuck, resulting in a truck phenomenon. What’s more, due to the jamming, the wheel-rail will be misaligned, causing the wheels to be not in the same straight line, which will frequently cause “stuck car” accidents and adverse consequences. In addition, improper force when moving the trolley will also cause the wheel to shift, resulting in a “stuck car”.
(2) Treatment method The method to prevent the “truck” phenomenon from occurring during the production process of the circulating hot bending furnace is: the temperature should be uniform during heating and the heating should be carried out according to the prescribed heating time. More importantly, after the heating is completed and before the glass is placed, the hot bending chamber trolley should be lowered and maintained for 2 to 3 minutes. The hot bending chamber should be raised to 590~600℃ before the next trolley is moved and the next trolley is allowed to enter the hot bending chamber for empty car heating. In this way, more than half of the empty mold trolleys are continuously moved, so that the trolleys can bring heat to all parts of the furnace and heat the lower part of the hot bending chamber evenly. At this time, putting in the glass for hot bending can avoid the “truck”. In addition, when carrying or pushing the trolley, be careful not to misalign the wheel rails and not to let the wheels come out of the groove to prevent “truck”.
